Objectives:
- Develop a model that predicts hardiness for several cultivars for all AWN stations; similar to the grape model discussed previously.
- Investigate an automated sensing system complimentary to manual dissection of buds.
- Share results with producers
- All biological models should be vetted. We may need to continue the work past this grant to verify model predictions. But this will be assessed at the end of this three year project.
This project is in progress. The following video provides an update of current research as of 2018.
